Make at least part of Thanksgiving a (ginger)snap with this recipe for pumpkin pie dip!
Thanksgiving is one of the most delicious days of the year. If you’re the person to whom the cooking responsibilities fall, though, it’s also one of the most challenging. We know that creating the full spread on this holiday takes a lot out of you, and between the Thanksgiving appetizers, sides, and (of course!) turkey, you might not want to do a lot of other cooking in the week leading up to the holiday.
We understand! So you can still enjoy fall flavors without having to break a sweat or break your back in the kitchen, here’s a delicious and deliciously easy Thanksgiving recipe for pumpkin pie dip!
To make this dip, you’ll need just ten minutes and these ingredients:
- 1 8-ounce package of softened cream cheese
- 2 cups of confectioners’ sugar
- ½ cup of sour cream
- 1 cup of canned pumpkin
- ½ teaspoon of ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice
- Gingersnaps
In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese with the confectioners’ sugar. Add in the sour cream, pumpkin, ginger, cinnamon, and pumpkin pie spice, stirring until smooth and completely blended. Serve with gingersnaps for dipping.
If you decide to make this dip as a sweet treat for yourself, know that the leftovers will keep in the refrigerator if you want to enjoy the rest of it later!
