Texas Book Festival on October 25th-26th

Looking for things to do in Austin, Texas? The Texas Book Festival is coming to town from October 25th to 26th for an educational and exciting experience! Festival sessions are free, however, early arrival is required to find a spot. There will be past pass opportunities for priority seating. Held in the Capitol and House Chamber, all chamber rules must be followed or you will be escorted out of the vent. This means no food, drinks, or flash photography, and absolutely nothing can be placed on any of the representatives’ desks.
Each festival session will conclude with adult and YA author signings in the Adult Book Signing Tent located at Congress at 10th, the Children’s Sales/Signing Tent located at Colorado at 13th, and at the Sales/Signing Tent which is located by the Central Market Cooking Tent at 11th and Congress.
This educational event has praised authors and their contributors since 1995. As one of the premier literary events in the United Sates, this is a free opportunity that you will not want to miss out on. Readers, authors, and publishers are bound to find their forte at the Texas Book Festival, as dozens of authors will be holding a session each hour of the festival. With so many honorable authors to be praised, you may find it difficult to schedule your itinerary accordingly. This is surely a festival you will not want to miss out on!
