The holiday season is in full swing! As Christmas approaches make sure you have the perfect holiday gift for all your loved ones. Forget the traditional European Christmas markets, and celebrate the holidays the Austin way with local artists! Check out these Christmas Bazaars in Austin, Texas!

Where: Marchesa Hall & Theatre
The 15th annual Blue Genie Art Bazaar boasts an array of local artisan goodies. With handmade art and gifts, you’re sure to find something for even the pickiest person on your gift list. Located at the Marchesa Hall & Theatre this market is comprised of over 200 local artists. Admission is free, but a portion of all proceeds from the fair will be donated to the Make-A-Wish® Foundation. The bazaar is open daily from 10am-10pm and will run through Christmas Eve, so make sure to stop by for food, fun, and lots of wonderful artwork!

Celebrating their 40th season, the Armadillo Christmas Bazaar is part craft market, part music festival at the Palmer Events Center! With more than 160 local artists showcasing their work, you’re sure to find the perfect holiday gift and last-minute stocking stuffers. And of course, it wouldn’t be Austin without some live music! True to Austin’s vibrant live music scene, the market comes jam-packed with live performances. With at least three performances per day, it’s an event you won’t want to miss! The market runs daily from 10am-10pm until Christmas eve. Tickets are $8 and children under 12 are free. With beautiful local art and great music, it’s an event the whole family can enjoy!
