The summer seems designed for fun. The longer days and warmer temperatures make it perfect for playing outdoors, exploring all of the opportunities for adventure in the area. While Austin offers plenty of fun things to do in the summer months, one of them stands above the rest.
To take advantage of one of the best events in the area, mark your calendar for the Austin X Games.
From June 4th – 7th the Circuit of the Americas transforms into the X Games Festival Village. This will be the canvas across which many of the world’s best extreme sports athletes will showcase their talents. At the Austin X Games, you will have the chance to see Harley-Davidson flat-track racing, BMX and Skateboard Vert competitions, America’s Navy Skateboard Big Air final, off-road truck racing, and rally car racing.
The athletes will not be the only ones there to wow, either. This year’s music headliners include Metallica, Nicki Minaj, The Glitch Mob, Deltron 3030, Talib Kweli, and Joywave!
Gates will open at 10:00 a.m. at the Circuit of the Americas each day. They will be selling food, snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, beer, wine, and spirits all day to keep you fueled for all of the fun. To get your tickets to all of the action, head here.
