Keep Austin Weird Festival and 5K

There is no doubt that Austin is one of the most exciting cities in the world. To celebrate that exciting and unique culture, the Keep Austin Weird Fest and 5K is coming back on June 28th. The festival and 5K will feature plenty of fun activities and vendors to keep the whole family entertained.
The Keep Austin Weird 5K starts at 7 p.m. at the Long Center in Austin. Registration is $12 for children 12 and under and $25 for adults. Make sure to bring your creative side and dress up for the run. Celebrate the weirdness of Austin and show a bit of your wild side by creating your own special running outfit.
The festival is a huge blowout of music and fun that celebrates not only the city, but the fascinating residents as well. There will be loads of local food, drink, and craft vendors that will reflect the creative nature of the city. Last year’s vendors included everything from gyros, to fried pies, handmade jewelry and other arts & crafts. With enough fun and activities to please everyone, make sure to bring the whole family to take part in the eccentricity of the city. The festival opens a 2 p.m. to give everyone a full day of fun.
