SXSW Music/Film/Interactive Events Enriching Our Lives

Austin’s famed South by Southwest (SXSW) is upon us again, set for ten days beginning March 7. These varied events constitute a "Don’t Miss" attraction and a "Can’t Miss" good time.  Whether your interests tend toward film, music or interactive technologies, this is the place to be in March.

SXSW features an incredible line-up of participants.  A few of the more well-known expected to attend include Clinton Foundation Vice-Chair Chelsea Clinton, celebrity and former NBA star Shaquille O’Neal, billionaire investor and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, musician Neil Young, and live via satellite, Julian Assange, founder of WikiLeaks. This gathering attracts an internationally renowned selection of artists and celebrities and some of the finest displays of talent available anywhere.

With 32,000 registrants anticipated, this year’s SXSW will feature an unparalleled gathering focused on emerging technology networking, independent film, and original music. Artists, experts and celebrated guests converge for the unique combination of creative disciplines that is the internationally-recognized SXSW. 

The interactive events are set to run from March 7-11, with the film lineup running March 7-15 and the music, with over 1,700 artists, from March 11-16.
