Auditorium Shores on Lady Bird Lake
The largest Fourth of July celebration in Austin will be at Auditorium Shores on Lady Bird Lake. Get there early to claim your spot considering they are expecting over 100,000 people. Festivities begin at 8:30 p.m. with the Austin Symphony Orchestra, followed by the giant fireworks display which is planned to begin at 9:30 p.m.
A unique feature about this location is that you can watch the fireworks from a kayak or canoe! The Rowing Dock, located on Lady Bird Lake, will be open beginning at 7:30 p.m. and renting boats for this special event. You can’t get a better view of the fireworks! Book early due limited availability.
Corn Dog Eating Contest at Black Sheep Lodge
